Georgia senator calls out Barrett's non-commitment on ABMS acquisition reviews

Testifying at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing yesterday, Air Force Secretary Barbara Barrett wouldn't commit to submitting traditional acquisition documents for the service's emerging Advanced Battle Management System. This elicited concern from Sen. David Perdue (R-GA), who's calling for proper oversight of the program. Georgia hosts Robins Air Force Base, which will eventually oversee the fielded ABMS that's intended to realize joint all-domain command and control.
