Israeli Defense Officials Press U.S. On Aiding Arrow Missile Efforts

Israeli defense officials said today they plan to press U.S. officials to support increased production of Arrow missiles, a program slated for upgrades so that it can effectively counter Iran's Shahab-3 missile. During a breakfast with defense reporters, Israeli Defense Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer said he will discuss a number of security issues with Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld today, including expanding U.S.-Israeli cooperation on weapons programs.
