Lockheed Martin recently demonstrated launching an aerial drone from its unmanned underwater vehicle, in what company officials believe is a first-time event. Lockheed and the Navy conducted the event in August during the service's Annual Navy Technology Exercise at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, RI.
