Lord Robertson Defends NATO's Support for U.S. National Missile Defense

NATO Secretary General Lord Robertson said today that the turn-around in recent months within the alliance regarding U.S. plans to construct a national missile shield is not so much a grudging acceptance of the inevitable, but rather a recognition that Europeans may eventually benefit from the U.S. program.
