Navy begins implementing changes to Littoral Combat Ship program

The Navy is establishing eight working groups at Naval Surface Forces Command to carry out sweeping changes made to the Littoral Combat Ship program. Implementing the changes will involve "at least a yearlong effort," according to an August draft briefing of the plan obtained this week by Inside Defense.
