Navy pilots to start V-22 training at new detachment this year

The Navy will soon begin training aircrews and maintenance personnel on the V-22 Osprey as part of a new detachment at Marine Corps Air Station New River, NC, according to the service. The Navy approved the establishment of the unit, Airborne Command and Control Logistics Wing Medium Tilt-Rotor Training Detachment 204, in a Dec. 1 chief of naval operations notice.
