Panel to Brief Congress on EMP Threat

An independent panel assessing the probability of an electromagnetic pulse weapon being used against the United States is expected to release its findings at a congressional hearing later this month. Established by the fiscal year 2001 Defense Authorization Act, the panel is chaired by William Graham, who was a science and technology adviser to President Reagan.
