Rogers questions authority of principal DOD space advisor

The chairman of the House Armed Services strategic forces subcommittee this week questioned whether Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James' role as principal Defense Department space advisor gives her the authority needed to lead the department's space acquisition efforts. The department last year introduced the PDSA role, which gives James advisory authority over the many DOD services and organizations that have assets in space.
