Sen. Landrieu Asks Colleagues to Support Guard's Black Hawk Mod Efforts

Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) is joining Rep. Rodney Alexander (D-LA) asking congressional leaders for their support for the National Guard's H60 Black Hawk helicopter recapitalization and modernization programs. In a March 6 letter, Landrieu asks the leaders of the Senate Armed Services and Appropriations committees for an additional $184.4 million in the fiscal year 2010 defense bills to accelerate the helicopter modernization programs.
