U.S. Panel Approves Dutch Company Takeover of Silicon Valley Group

The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States today approved the controversial sale of the Silicon Valley Group of San Jose, CA, to a Dutch company, a Treasury Department spokesman confirmed. ASM Lithography Holding NV of the Netherlands submitted a new proposal to CFIUS, an interagency panel, late yesterday.
