USAF issues sources-sought notice for bridge tanker as GOP lawmakers continue call for KC-46 recompete

The Air Force today released a sources-sought notice seeking a non-developmental air refueler to supplement its tanker fleet later and plans to release a request for proposals by the end of this year. The service notes in a press release that it wants a commercial derivative aircraft that can enter the fleet at the end of Boeing's KC-46 production.
