AeroVironment reports quarterly sales and profit declines

AeroVironment said this week sales in its most recent quarter reached $62 million, down 18% from the same three-month period a year earlier.

The reduction in sales was primarily due to a decline in product sales, the company said.

AeroVironment reported a quarterly loss of $1 million, down from $8.4 million in quarterly profit a year earlier.
