Mattis to meet with industry executives

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis is scheduled to confer with defense industry executives on April 13 during a meeting convened by three industry organizations, according to a source with knowledge of the event.

Following the release of the fiscal year 2018 “skinny” budget, the Office of Management and Budget is asking the heads of all executive branch departments and agencies not to get into the details of the proposed plan.
