F-22 program office confident it can complete near-term ACS upgrades

The F-22 program office is confident it has the necessary funding to support simulator upgrades required to complete initial testing of a key software upgrade, despite concerns raised recently by the Pentagon's top weapons tester. The program relies on a Lockheed Martin-built testing system called the Air Combat Simulator to test new F-22 capabilities.
