Bridenstine: House bill is first step toward achieving key space reforms

Rep. Jim Bridestine (R-OK) said this week he is satisfied with the space reforms including in the House's fiscal year 2017 defense spending bill and his office is working to find support for those initiatives in the Senate. The legislation, which passed the full House on May 18, included 10 provisions that were part of Bridenstine's Space Renaissance Act -- a collection of sweeping military, civil and commercial space policy proposals.
