Serco, DRS, Northrop leading Navy CANES production early in contract

Among the seven contractors competing for orders under the $2.5 billion Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services multiple-award contract, Serco Inc., DRS Laurel Technologies and Northrop Grumman have been dealt the most work so far, according to information provided by the Navy. The service has placed eight delivery orders for a total of 23 ships under the contract thus far, according to information provided by Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command on July 19.
