DOD awards Lockheed $7.1B UCA for F-35 Lot 10 as negotiations continue

The Defense Department has awarded Lockheed Martin a nearly $7.2 billion undefinitized contract to deliver 90 F-35 aircraft as part of the 10th low-rate initial production lot. The award is a modification to an LRIP advanced acquisition contract issued in June 2015, according to a Nov. 23 joint program office statement.
